Mission Chandrayaan-2-GSLV Mark-3, The major stunt by "ISRO"

#ISRO #Chandrayaan2

Indian biggest stunt ever from the previous mission's and many more fact's to discuss.

The below statement and data is given by "ISRO".

Chandrayaan-2, India’s second lunar mission, has three modules namely Orbiter, Lander (Vikram) & Rover (Pragyan). The Orbiter and Lander modules will be interfaced mechanically and stacked together as an integrated module and accommodated inside the GSLV MK-III launch vehicle. The Rover is housed inside the Lander.

After launch into earth bound orbit by GSLV MK-III, the integrated module will reach Moon orbit using Orbiter propulsion module. Subsequently, Lander will separate from the Orbiter and soft land at the predetermined site close to lunar South Pole. Further, the Rover will roll out for carrying out scientific experiments on the lunar surface. Instruments are also mounted on Lander and Orbiter for carrying out scientific experiments.

All the modules are getting ready for Chandrayaan-2 launch during the  window of July 09, to July 16, 2019, with an expected Moon landing on September 06, 2019.

yea the upper information was from ISRO feed from our sources but coming to date, it is confirmed on "july 15 2019"

so recent updates were made by Dr.K.Sivan the Chairman of ISRO was that these project has been made a less than budget of "1000 Crore ," and there is a little nervous excitement for the crew and whole member's involved in team for the launch.

So some technical roundup below

  • Chandrayaan-2 satellite weighs 3.8 tons

  • The rover is carried inside the lander

  • They will go on with site experiments on the lunar surface for about 14 days

  • and its is powered by Solar energy.

  • 70 degrees south latitude, is the southernmost for any mission till date, this was stated by ISRO chief

  • Chandrayaan-2 will land a region of moon where there is no mission and no satellite has ever set foot or held on any research.

  • Soft landing for future missions and it carries 13 Indian scientific instruments that will help further analyse in the minerals on the moon, map the moon surface and search for water & other form's of humidity.

so the most complex and more risk is involved in Chandrayaan-2,

so delay's happen here for the perfection in the project and this high pressure need's patience to handle the consistent success.

but the delay was worth said by "Dr.K.Sivan" with the confidence for the launch.

so get ready for the launch on

"Monday july 15th 2019"

That's all for the Launch and tech round-up detail's in the Chandrayaan2
